Taichung Daya Chapel-An Appointment with Senior Couple Missionaries

Sister Tseng Li-Rui-Xin is a convert to the Church. In her youth, she came into contact with the Church because she wanted to learn English. Later, when a close friend wished to take the missionary discussions, she accompanied her. When the missionaries taught that “families can be eternal,” those words deeply touched Sister Tseng’s heart. She desired to learn how to receive such blessings and was baptized in 1982, opening a completely new chapter in her life.

The Tseng family has fourteen members: three sons, three daughters-in-law, two daughters, two grandsons, and two granddaughters. Among their five children, one has served as a short-term missionary, and the other four have served as full-time missionaries.

Sister Tseng enjoys quiet activities such as reading, appreciating nature, and taking walks. Her skills include massage and physical therapy. She currently serves as a full-time senior missionary with her husband. Her previous Church callings include Relief Society President, Young Women President, Primary President, Sunday School teacher, and Institute teacher.

Five years after they were married, Brother Tseng was converted. The following year (1991), the family was sealed in the Taipei Taiwan Temple, and their marriage, along with their two sons, was sealed for eternity. Later, their third son, eldest daughter, and youngest daughter were all born in the covenant.
