Taipei Jinhua Chapel-Mini Concert

Shi, Xing Jun

Mini Concert Producer

Sister Zhao Shi Xing Jun was baptized and joined the Church in August 2001 at the Taipei Jingxing Ward. She has served in various callings, including Primary music leader, counselor in the Primary presidency, Young Women adviser, Ward music Coordinator, Ward choir conductor, and Stake music coordinator. She currently serves as the Relief Society president in Luzhu Ward.
Having received rigorous violin and piano training in music programs since childhood and continuing her studies at the Department of Music, National Taiwan Normal University, and later at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee (U.S.) graduate school, her long-term service in the Church has been closely connected with her musical expertise. She has participated in many significant Church events, including serving as concertmaster in the 50th and 60th Anniversary Mission Orchestras, and performing multiple times in the sacred pageant “The Lamb of God.” During her service as the music coordinator for the Taoyuan Taiwan Stake, she organized several stake music concerts, opening to the public and successfully inviting many nonmembers to attend.
In addition, she has actively planned musical numbers at the sacrament meetings for special occasions, such as Easter and Mother’s Day, thoughtfully preparing a variety of musical performances. On one such occasion, her broad invitation for the sacrament meeting on Mother’s Day attracted more than forty nonmembers, achieving remarkable missionary work.
She has always hoped that, through her musical expertise, members can deeply feel the meaning within music, the influence of the Spirit, and Heavenly Father’s love for us. She looks forward to continuing to humbly experience the indescribable feelings that music brings, and through her performances and service, to share this beauty with more people.
