Sister Qian Ying-Xuan was baptized on August 16, 1986. She served as a part-time missionary for over ten years. Since joining the Church as a young woman, she has completed all Seminary classes. While accompanying missionaries in door-to-door proselyting, she once experienced being splashed with water and bitten by a dog.

She has served as Relief Society President and Second Counselor, providing service in both China and Taiwan. While serving in the Chengdu Third Branch, she  helped promote the Relief Society’s ministry, assisting a 60-year-old sister and encouraging a young woman who had been inactive for a long time to become engaged in church again.

She has also served as Stake Young Women President and Second Counselor, as well as Single Adult Representative. In both Taiwan and China, she gathered single adults to share the gospel and life experiences. Even amid numerous restrictions in China, she successfully fostered unity and fellowship among members.

As a Career Resource Center Advisor, she has assisted returning members from overseas in writing résumés and preparing for interviews, helping over 200 members.

She has served as Family History Center Director and Consultant. Since 2020, she has been revising her family history and established a genealogy group in Shanghai to share God’s words and genealogical knowledge. Currently, 12 sisters continue to participate actively in family history and temple work, embodying the teaching of Moses 1:39: “To bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.”

• She has repeatedly experienced answers to prayers, confirming the promise in Matthew 7:7–12:
  “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
