Introduction of the Instructor
Sister Chang Shu-Ning comes from the Lanyang Ward of the Taipei East Stake. She currently serves in multiple church callings, including Stake Young Single Adult Committee Chairman, Second Counselor in the Primary Presidency, and Institute teacher. These roles give her opportunities to serve members of different ages and backgrounds, allowing her to grow, learn, and be an instrument in God’s hands.
She previously served as a missionary at the Laie Hawaii Temple Visitors’ Center, an experience that deeply shaped her faith and understanding of the gospel. Sister Chang joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the age of nine in Tianjin, China, and since then has received many spiritual and temporal blessings through her church journey. She testifies that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are her refuge and the guiding compass in her life.
Course Overview:
A Sound Bath is a form of sound-based healing that uses various instruments—most commonly brass sound bowls (singing bowls or sound bowls)—to create a soothing auditory environment. Participants may sit or lie down, quietly listening and immersing themselves in the sound vibrations to allow the mind and body to relax and restore.
Though sound baths are often linked with spiritual or ancient cultural traditions, they are not limited to any religion. Whether for spiritual exploration, relaxation, or simple curiosity, participants can engage according to their own needs and beliefs. Those with religious or spiritual interests may also gain deeper cultural and personal insights through the experience.

Introduction of the Instructor
Sister Yan Meng-Ping
December 21, 2002, was the day for all four members of her family to be baptized together.
January 17, 2004 marked their family’s sealing in the temple. At that time, her children were still in elementary and junior high school. She recalls that moment vividly: when the temple workers brought her children into the sealing room, she felt as if two little angels were walking toward the altar. In that instant, she truly felt the joy and reality of “Home can be a Heaven on earth.”
After returning home, her son even asked whether his bedroom could be decorated to look like the temple—Hahaha…….
Over the years, Sister Yan has served in many church callings, including Counselors in Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society presidencies; Sunday School and Relief Society teacher; and Seminary teacher for 6 years. She has also served as ward activities specialist and self-reliance specialist.
Her favorite calling is being a teacher. Through teaching, she has gained a deeper understanding regarding God and the gospel, strengthened her personal testimony, and consistently felt the Lord’s love—helping her hold firmly to the iron rod and continue walking with God.

Sister Duan Hai-Yan
Sister Duan has been a member of the Church for nearly 20 years.She has previously served in various callings, including Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher, Young Women president, and Seminary teacher.
She currently manages a land administration office together with her husband, specializing in family property planning for clients.
Her professional background includes working as a kindergarten teacher, after-school program teacher, social worker, and substitute teacher.

Introduction of the Instructor:
I was born in 1957 and was baptized in the Church in 2005. I currently attend the Xin An Ward.
I have two children, and my late husband and I have been sealed in the temple. I firmly believe that families are eternal, for “no other success can compensate for failure in the home.”
This has always been the core belief of our family.
Whenever I pick up a needle and thread and stitch one stitch at a time, a sense of peace and joy fills my heart. That focus allows me to set aside my worries for a moment and brings stillness to my soul.
As each piece of work slowly takes shape, I feel as though God is working in my life—using love and wisdom to embroider my journey, one stitch at a time. When I give my handmade creations to others and see the smiles on their faces, I deeply feel that handcrafting is more than art— it carries the power to heal the heart.
Through every stitch, I have learned focus, endurance, and gratitude. I have come to realize that every experience and every effort is a thread of color God has placed in my life, making the picture richer and more beautiful. These moments of creation have helped me better understand myself and feel God’s love more deeply.
I hope to continue one stitch at a time to stitch faith, hope, and a heart filled with gratitude.
