Becoming Your Child’s First Music Teacher: Musical Movement Games for Infants
Instructor Introduction:
Sister Ying-Wen Wang has loved playing the piano since childhood and majored in vocal performance at university. She has been a member of the Church for 12 years and has served as a Young Single Adult Leader and Primary Music Leader. She currently serves as the Stake Primary President.
With a lively artistic spirit, Sister Wang loves crafts and playful activities, which naturally led her tobecome a children’s music and movement instructor. In this course, she will share how to guide preschool children to learn music through songs and laughter.
Course Overview:
This course teaches how to use simple everyday props and singing to create fun and creative games that introduce preschoolers to playing music.
Participants will explore examples from the Children’s Songbook and learn practical techniques that make it easy to become their child’s first music mentor.
