The Adventures, Inspirations, and Mission of the Tabernacle Choir Tour

Introduction of the Instructor:
Sister Zhong Peishan’s mother was a first-generation convert, so Peishan grew up in the church. Influenced by her peers in the church, she began serving in the choir during elementary school and pursued music academically. She graduated from the Department of Music at Taipei Municipal University of Education and worked as a piano teacher for many years, also participating in early childhood music education.

After serving in the Kaohsiung Mission, Peishan, along with her husband Brother Bao, completed temple ordinances in the Taipei Temple. Later, due to her husband’s work and studies, the family lived in China and the United States before returning to settle in Taiwan. Currently, she resides in New Taipei City raising three children and is a busy homeschooling mother.

In her church service, Sister Peishan served as a Seminary teacher for two years, and many of her responsibilities are music and Primary-related. She now serves as the Stake music coordinator and as the Ward Primary music leader.

Course Overview:

About three years ago, the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square in Salt Lake City began recruiting international choir members, hoping that members from all over the world would see representatives from their own countries and feel a sense of belonging when watching the General Conference. Sister Peishan was fortunate to be selected and became one of the first ten international members. She was invited to participate again in the April 2025 General Conference.

During her eighteen days in Salt Lake City, Peishan not only strengthened her musical skills but also received significant spiritual learning and had many insights worth sharing back in Taiwan. In this session, she will introduce her experience with this calling, share what she saw and felt in the United States, and discuss the spiritual power and beautiful experiences that music brings.
