Honored Guest: Sister Huang Bi-Zhu

Introduction of the Honored Guest :
Sister Huang Bi-Zhu was baptized in February 1975. Fifty years ago, two missionaries—Elder David W. Squires and Elder Michael Light—rode bicycles to her home to share the gospel. A few days later, she visited the church building and was deeply moved by the hymns accompanied by piano, which inspired her to be baptized.
Later, due to family matters, she moved north and became separated from the Church for a time. Several years later, after returning to Douliu, she actively came back to church through the care and invitations of the sisters—something she remains very grateful for. She has learned much in the Church and has served in many callings, including Primary president, Sunday School teacher, and Relief Society teacher. She is currently serving as the Relief Society president, a calling she has fulfilled for two years. She expresses that being able to continue serving the Lord while she still has strength is a great honor.
Sister Huang believes that gospel teachings—such as forgiveness, speaking with gentleness, serving others, and maintaining a loving heart—are applicable and deeply helpful both in daily interactions and in family life. She reminds us that today’s society is heavily influenced by negative environments, making it even more important to follow the prophet’s teachings within the Church. By continually holding fast to the iron rod, attending the temple, feeling the Spirit of the Father in the celestial room, and enduring to the end, we can protect ourselves—and this is also what Heavenly Father delights in.

Honore Guest: Sister Zheng Bao-Bi

Introduction of the Instructor :
Sister Zheng Bao-Bi was born in 1940 and is now 86 years old. She has one son, two grandsons, and five great-grandchildren. She was baptized on April 22, 2001, and has previously served in the Church as a Relief Society compassion leader and as a nursery teacher in Primary.
Her son, Xin-Xiong, and daughter-in-law, Ming-Fang, grew up in the Church and were married in the temple. While living with them, Sister Zheng often saw their home warmly welcome missionaries and Church members. She frequently heard stories of blessings that came from living the commandments, as well as many examples of members helping and loving one another.
Before baptism, she already had a general understanding of gospel principles and some ordinances, but had not yet had the chance to meet with the missionaries. Later, through the invitation of her grandson, she began attending Church activities and Sabbath meetings. She soon joined the Church, being baptized and confirmed by her son. She also went to the temple to receive her own endowment and made many dear friends, including Sister Dai, Sister Ye, and Sister Gao.
Sister Zheng is grateful to have joined the Lord’s Church and to live together with her children and grandchildren. This has filled her life with the tenderness and mercy of God.

Instructor: Sister Huang Zhou-Qiao

Introduction of the Instructor:
Sister Huang Zhou-Qiao is 84 years old and the mother of one son. In her younger years, she worked in the Pingtung County Government Secretariat as a typist and has been retired for many years. Her son is married, and her grandson has already graduated from college. Her son’s family of three lives in Kaohsiung, while Sister Huang lives independently in Pingtung. She cares for herself through the Lord’s grace and enjoys the blessings of peace. Her husband passed away many years ago, and on December 11, 2021, she was sealed to him in the Taipei Temple through the temple sealing ordinance.
Sister Huang was baptized on January 25, 2003, after two missionaries knocked on her door and taught her the gospel. She was baptized after having only two lessons. Since then, she has served as a temple worker, traveling monthly to the temple to perform ordinances for her ancestors—both her husband’s family and her own.
She believes that when each person loves their family, the home shines; when each person gives, the home will not be lonely; and when each person cherishes one another, the home becomes sweet. Sister Huang encourages everyone to let love dwell in their home every day—day and night, in all seasons—loving family with all their heart. Just as Jesus Christ showed love by washing His disciples’ feet and teaching us to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves. If we do not know how to love others, we can seek God’s guidance; He will grant us the gifts needed to serve. We should notice and care for those around us, help those in need, and pray even for those we struggle to like.
Jesus Christ said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.” Sister Huang hopes that God will bless all members of the Church so that each may carry the light of Christ and shine for Him always.
