Finding Christ in Life’s Adversities
Introduction of the Instructor:
Sister Hsieh Qiao-Yun was baptized in 1985. She has long devoted herself to Church service, previously serving as the Relief Society President of the Tainan Stake (2017–2024), a Sunday School teacher, and the Primary President. She is currently serving as a Sunday School teacher.
When she was young, a sister missionary once told her, “You are a daughter of Heavenly Father.” This sentence became a ray of light that illuminated her upbringing, during which she often struggled with feelings of inferiority. It helped her recognize her divine identity and her priceless worth in the eyes of Heavenly Father.
Sister Hsieh has a happy and loving family. Although her husband is not yet a member of the Church, he always supports her participation in Church service and learning. Her daughter is exceptionally bright and is the most precious companion in her life.
She runs two tutoring centers and has been blessed by God with wisdom and ability, enabling her to care for each student and teacher. Her interests include photography, traveling, and reading. Every morning, she sets aside a sacred time to study the scriptures, allowing them to be a lamp to her feet and guide her on the right path.
