Mini Concert
Production Inspiration
Niaosong Chapel (Sister Lin Xiu-Ling)
Having been a member of the Church for over 30 years, I’ve always loved church music and hymns.
Though I’m not a professional musician, I’ve faithfully joined the choir rehearsals and performances, learning and growing through each experience.
I’m deeply grateful for many sisters in the church who possess musical gifts and have shared their knowledge with me — their guidance has truly been a blessing.
I’ve never planned a concert before. This is my first time serving as a producer for a concert. At the beginning, I was literally afraid I might not be capable of doing it well. So, I prayed — asking the Lord to lead me. I also sought advice from sisters who had previously organized concerts, and their insights gave me the courage and direction I needed.
Step by step, I began inviting performers, and I’m so thankful for each one who willingly accepted the invitation and offered their support. Fortunately, the process went smoothly without much frustration. I know God was with me throughout all this time and with hearfelt thanks to Sister Wang Mei-Zhao from Tainan Yongkang, I am grateful for her generous help, and to the Secretariat team members for their unity and collaboration. Together, we’ve built this Mini Concert from the ground up.
It’s my sincere hope that this musical gathering will bring every sister a moment to rest your heart and to enjoy.

Huang, Ke Yun
Mini Concert Host
Sister Ke Yun Huang was baptized in 2021 during the pandemic in a plastic swimming pool. She currently serves as the pianist and the first counselor in the Relief Society presidency. She has previously served as a Primary teacher and as the second counselor in the Relief Society presidency.
The camaraderie shared with fellow workers and the beautiful friendships among the sisters have been a profound source of strength and support for her on her journey of faith.

Sister Mei-Zhao Wang
Mini Concert Host
Sister Mei-Zhao Wang / Tainan Stake, Yongkang 2nd Ward
Sister Wang was baptized in 1985 and has been a faithful member of the Church for nearly 40 years. She has always been devoted and eager to serve. At the invitation of the stake, she participated in the planning and hosting of the Southern Area Mini Music Concert. Through this service, she came to know many wonderful sisters, and together they worked in unity, dividing responsibilities and sharing their talents—an experience that deeply touched her. She also learned that an individual’s strength is limited, but when many people combine their efforts and wisdom, tasks can be accomplished efficiently and on schedule.
At this conference, Sister Wang also served as one of the instructors, so a detailed introduction about her has already been included on the list of the instructors. Therefore, she would like to share the process and her reflections on organizing this mini music concert.
Sister Kuo Xiao-Feng from the Tainan 1st Ward is a school music teacher who is skilled at leading choirs in church. When Sister Wang invited her to participate, she readily agreed despite her busy schedule. Many sisters from the Tainan 1st and 2nd Wards, who have beautiful singing voices, also enthusiastically joined in, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy their lovely singing.
To make the concert even more vibrant, sisters from the Tainan Yong Kang 2nd Ward also actively participated in the performance. Although they are not professional musicians, they devoted much time to practicing the taiko drums and rehearsing Taiwanese songs, all to show their support for the event. Sister Wang expressed heartfelt gratitude to these sisters for their warm contribution and generosity.
Music is truly wonderful—it can be graceful in expression, uplifting in spirit, healing to the soul, and a means to praise and glorify the Almighty God. This time, several sisters skilled in instrumental performance were invited to showcase their musical talents, allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful melodies created by various instruments and experience a true musical feast.
Sister Wang wished to thank all the performers for generously sharing their time and talents, which made this mini concert more complete and successful. She is deeply grateful for everyone’s dedication and support.
