Kaohsiung Niaosong Chapel-Public Service

Introduction of the Instructor

Sister Pan Sirong was baptized in November 2010 in the Tainan 1st Ward. There were already pioneers in her family. She first came in contact with the missionaries through a friend, and within less than a month, she decided to be baptized. One of the reasons she chose baptism was that she noticed the thickness of the members’ triple combination scriptures was different from her own copy of the Book of Mormon. After asking about it, a member told her that after baptism, the bishop typically gives new converts a set of scriptures identical to everyone else’s. Her curiosity toward the word of God deepened her desire to be baptized.

In 2015, Sister Pan was sealed in the Taipei Taiwan Temple. She later settled in Kaohsiung after getting married and is now a full-time mother of two boys—a mother  who easily becomes overwhelmed and who values cleanliness.

Sister Pan has served for about ten years in the Young Women organization as both counselor and president. She has also served in the Relief Society as counselor and president. She is currently serving as the First Counselor in the Primary, a calling she has held for more than a year. Her favorite part of this calling is leading the children in hands-on crafts, appreciating their creativity and keen observations, and marveling at their unexpectedly remoulding abilities.

A special thanks to Sister Pan Sirong for selflessly sharing her expertise to help ensure the success of the public service project for 2026 Women’s Conference!
