Sister Kuang Wang Chun-hua

Introduction of the Guest:

Sister Kuang Wang Chun-hua is blessed with 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and as of October 2025, she is the great-grandmother of two full-time missionaries. She is 81 years old, born on April 1, 1944, in Yuchi Township, Nantou.

In her youth, Sister Kuang married Brother Kuang Bu-heng, who came to Taiwan from Ji’an, Jiangxi Province. (Brother Kuang was baptized in October 2005.) Together they raised two sons and three daughters. Although Sister Kuang only received about one to two years of elementary education and had limited literacy, she worked hard to raise her children. Today, all five of them are successful in their careers and show great respect and gratitude toward their parents.

Sister Kuang joined the Church through the influence of her youngest son, Kuang Tang-sheng (Han-zhong), who was baptized and confirmed in February 2005. Shortly afterward, her husband, Brother Bu-heng, was also baptized, and Sister Kuang herself was baptized and confirmed in February 2007.

Just one week later, she obtained the family genealogy of the Wang family of Yuchi—spanning more than ten generations—and performed temple ordinances on behalf of her ancestors. She completed her own Endowment in 2015, and in 2016, she received her Sealing ordinances for marriage and family.

Although reading the scriptures can be challenging due to her limited literacy, Sister Kuang remains an active and faithful member. She regularly attends Church meetings, visits the temple often, faithfully pays her tithing, and continues to learn about the gospel.

At home, she frequently kneels in prayer, asking Heavenly Father to bless and protect her family. She has also shared her personal testimony about the importance of temple marriage and sealing, bearing strong witness of the truthfulness of the restored priesthood keys.

Sister Chen Guihui

Guest Introduction:

Sister Chen Gui Hui was born on July 13, 1940. When she was 25 years old, two missionaries from the United States came to her home to share the gospel. One was Elder Gerald L. Skaggs, and the other was Elder Dave Freeman. The Elders told the story of how Joseph Smith prayed in a grove of trees when he was 14 years old and saw Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ descend from heaven. They gave Joseph instructions regarding his mission to restore the gospel. Later, through the angel Moroni’s guidance, Joseph was directed to retrieve the records buried in a hill called Cumorah and translate them into the Book of Mormon. She believed that this was true.

Therefore, on October 9, 1965, she was baptized. She has faithfully kept her covenants and has consistently paid her tithing since then. She raised two sons and one daughter who were all baptized when they were eight years old. Now her eldest daughter is 62, her eldest son is 61, and her youngest son is 51. God’s grace and bountiful blessings have filled their lives.

Her daughter earned a master’s degree in piano performance from Ohio University, USA. Her eldest son received a Ph.D. from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom and is now a professor at Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science. Her youngest son earned a Ph.D. from Brigham Young University in the United States and works as an engineer for the Apple company, responsible for camera-related technology.

She currently serves as a nursery teacher in Sunday School at church. All the little children know that “we are children of God.” When they pray, they reverently fold their arms, bow their heads, close their eyes, and say “Amen.”

During the sacrament meeting, the children also come willingly to sit with their teacher. How warm and sweet that is!
