Instant Choir
As its name implies, the “Instant Choir” is not a regular or permanent choir—it is a group of people gathering for a special purpose: to sing together in unity. And this special gathering originates in the Women’s Conference.
The sisters in this choir come from different regions, ages, and backgrounds, yet all share one heart—the love for the Lord. Together, they offer their most sincere prayers. They may not all know each other yet; rehearsals may be few; tacit understanding may gradually be forming. But every note carries gratitude, hope, and gentle tenderness.
Music has a magic power—it draws hearts closer, strengthens bonds among sisters, and brings warmth, support, and encouragement to every listener, just as the love of God—a radiant light shining into every heart.
This year, Sister Jia-Xuan Lin, who is responsible for selecting the music for the Instant Choir , prayerfully pondered the conference’s theme scripture and was inspired to choose this meaningful hymn “The Lord Is My Shepherd.”
She shared her inspiration in choosing this piece:
“When I read the conference theme scripture—‘Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He will never suffer the righteous to be moved’—I was reminded that we are all His beloved sheep. He feeds us, bears our sorrows, heals our wounds, and comforts our weary bodies and souls. Just as what the hymn ‘The Lord Is My Shepherd’ expresses, may this song bring each sister peace amidst worldly chaos and spiritual strength to steadfastly walk the path of the gospel.”
